For equipment used in Canadian outdoor or unheated environments, the minimum temperature is only part of the specification. The panel may move between cold storage, a heated service area, rain, snow, condensation, and repeated cleaning. These transitions can affect adhesive wet-out, film flexibility, venting, edge sealing, tactile response, and connector protection. The RFQ should describe both the operating range and the temperature at which the panel will be assembled to the housing.

Artwork and inspection requirements also deserve early control. If the finished equipment needs English and French legends, safety symbols, serial information, or customer-specific labels, those elements should be included in the approved artwork rather than handled as an informal production note. Window clarity, color references, key force, tail dimensions, and electrical limits should be tied to the drawing and sample approval.

A reliable repeat-order process records the approved material stack, revision, lot identification, packaging, and requested compliance documents. Prototype evaluation should include installation on the production-intent housing, not only a bench electrical test. Check whether cold material changes key feel or cable flexibility, whether condensation can reach the tail, and whether the adhesive develops full contact on the real surface. A short written approval report with photos, measured dimensions, and electrical results makes later repeat orders easier to compare.
