Folientastatur-Fertigung
From artwork preparation to export packing — every production step controlled under ISO 9001 in a 5,000 m² facility with dedicated cleanroom space.
Membrane switch manufacturing is a multi-step lamination process where each layer must align, bond, and function within tight tolerances. A typical production sequence covers artwork preparation, overlay printing, circuit processing, Spacer die-cutting, adhesive lamination, dome placement, connector termination, functional testing, and packaging. Skip or rush any step, and the failure shows up in the field.
JASPER runs this process under ISO 9001 controls in a 5,000 m² factory with 2,500 m² of Class 50,000 cleanroom space. Screen printing registration holds ±0.1 mm. Circuit continuity and isolation are tested on 100% of units. Actuation force is sampled against the approved dome specification. Color is compared to Pantone or physical standards at the start of every print run.
We have exported production orders since 2003, serving OEM customers who need repeatable quality across monthly or quarterly reorders — not just a good first sample.
Fertigung Flow
| Step | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Designpruefung | Confirm structure, dimensions, materials, tail routing, connector |
| Artwork preparation | Separate print layers, confirm colors, register alignment marks |
| Overlay printing | Screen print graphics and functional layers under cleanroom conditions |
| Circuit process | Print silver traces or process copper flex per design specification |
| Lamination | Bond overlay, Spacer, circuit, and adhesive layers with controlled pressure |
| Assembly | Place domes, LEDs, connectors, shielding, or embedded components |
| Inspection | Continuity, isolation, actuation force, color, dimensions, packaging |
| Export packing | Surface protection, tail support, anti-static packaging for shipment |
Inspection and Testing
Standard production inspection covers circuit continuity (open/short detection), isolation resistance between adjacent traces, actuation force sampling per dome specification, overlay appearance against signed-off color and print standards, dimensional verification of key positions and tail geometry, and adhesive peel strength where the customer specifies ASTM D1000 criteria.
For higher-risk applications, we add project-specific tests: accelerated life cycle testing (typically 500K–1M cycles at 2× rated force), chemical resistance exposure (customer-specified solvents for 24–72 hours), salt spray, UV aging, or environmental cycling (-40 °C to +85 °C). Test criteria are defined during sample approval.
Production Priorities
Stable specifications drive stable production. Before the first production run, we lock: Pantone or physical color references, film grade and thickness, adhesive type and coverage pattern, dome size and force rating, connector pitch and orientation, dimensional tolerances, and acceptance/rejection criteria. These become the production standard that every reorder is measured against.
When customers change artwork or materials between orders, we flag the change formally and produce new samples for approval. This prevents spec drift — the gradual accumulation of undocumented changes that eventually produces a switch the customer does not recognize.
Haeufige Fragen
-
Can production be based on approved samples?
Yes. The approved sample defines the production standard — color, feel, dimensions, and construction. We retain a reference sample and compare every batch against it.
-
Can JASPER support repeat orders?
Yes. Repeat-order consistency is our core value. We store tooling, artwork files, material specifications, and inspection records so each reorder matches the approved standard without re-engineering.
-
Can you manufacture complete assemblies?
Yes. A single order can include overlay printing, circuit processing, dome placement, LED integration, connector termination, shielding, adhesive lamination, and tested packaging — all from one factory.
